High school students are getting a head start on careers in education through the district's new Education Career Jumpstart program.
Mandatory safety education is required for everyone. High school and middle school students must complete online CHP safety training and pass a quiz using their NMUSD login, while elementary students will participate in age-appropriate "Walk ‘N Rollers" training during the school day.

The Summer Food Service Program is a federally funded program that provides meals for children 18 years of age and younger during periods when they are out of school for 15 or more consecutive school days.
