A Huge THANK YOU Community Partners!

A huge thank you goes out to the Costa Mesa Foundation and Bill Turpit, Grants Committee Chair, for their generous donation of $2,000 to help cover the cost of our popular and successful "Ticket to Read" program here at Sonora! Our students LOVE this program, which fosters increased reading fluency and comprehension at all levels.

Rock Harbor Church and the Crossing Church for their ongoing support of our school! They have made significant improvements to our campus during annual Make-over Days, breakfast and lunch for our staff a couple times during the school year, teacher supplies and backpack stuffed with wonderful school supplies! Holy Trinity Church is joining our community partnerships this year providing classroom instructional supplies and volunteers to tutor individual students needing a little extra support. We LOVE our Costa Mesa Church Partnerships!!

Newport Balboa Rotary Club for donating a beautiful tree planted in the front of our school on March 7, 2013 in preparation for Arbor Day. Thank you, Newport Rotary!

Segerstrom Center for the Arts for your continuing support of our visual and performing arts programs! For the amazing performances we attend at the Center to the Master Teaching Artists who work with our staff and students! We so appreciate your support!
